Application Guidelines
We welcome your proposal to our current Core Giving Areas.
Grant requirements
All grant awards are subject to the following conditions:
- Grantees may only use the grant funds in support of the project described in the grant obligation, and may not use the funds for any other purposes.
- Each calendar year, a written report must be submitted, describing how the funds were actually deployed in connection with the project. Once all the grant funds are expended, a final report must be submitted describing how the funds were used.
- We trust that grant awards are handled appropriately. However, if we determine that grant funds were spent for purposes unrelated to the project described in the grant, we have the right to ask for the return of any funds that were inappropriately spent.
Important Notes
- We accept proposals online exclusively, and require that an email address be provided. Please do not send proposals, progress reports, or other materials by regular mail.
- Please include your mailing address on the application (not physical address) to ensure delivery of mail from the foundation.
- All proposals submitted to the Lintilhac Foundation should be considered public. Trustees may consult other experts about proposed projects.
Current Grantees Submitting a New Application
If you are a current grant recipient applying for funding again, please send your progress report via the application portal. Please do not email your report to the Foundation.

The Lintilhac Foundation can issue payments via wire or check starting with the March 15th 2027 deadline. We will be contacting you if your proposal is accepted and asking your preference and instructions for the payment so we can process your grant.
